Krim stood at the edge of the farm town. He had been there for over three months now, mastering the language. Ever polite and helpful, it was obvious the townspeople were not anxious for him to go.

"Are ya sure there isn't anything we can do to convince you to stay?" One of the farmers asked, "My daughter is of age to be married..." He winked at Krim, "Prettiest girl in the village, if I do say so myself."

Krim smiled, repressing his horror at someone's partner being chosen by their parents. Or by anyone. Instead he said, "As beautiful as your daughter is, I must go." He looked out in the direction he was going to leave in. "However, I will stay one more night." He wasn't suer why he made this choice, but he felt it was a good idea.

"Ah, good!" The farmer clapped his hands together, "While your here, mind helping me with the harvest? You know how it is this time of year."

Krim simply nodded, following the farmer. In the heat of the day, he couldn't resist removing his shirt. When he first arrived, he could hardly do this without burning alive. Now though, his skin had tanned enough to allow him to work without it. 'And such a blessing it is.' He thought, glad of the wind to cool him off.

Leaving the Farm Town Empty Re: Leaving the Farm Town

Keiko was not walking on the trail that was recommended. Instead she walked on one she had learned when living in the forest for 7 years. Of course this trail was not the best for anyone else other then Keiko cause getting lost was easy. After what had felt like a week in the forest Keiko saw the trees fading into open plains. Knowing everything along the edges of the forest Keiko knew that the town off in the distance feared the forest. This made Keiko partly happy. As she continued to walk Keiko felt more and more nervous cause of a past event. Remembering the fear the villagers had when the 'wolf girl' was spotted near the edge of the forest cause all their crops froze over. Keiko just hoped they wouldn't panic when they saw her hair color.

To be honest Keiko was trying the hardest she could to not freeze her surroundings and get rid of the clouds that were forming behind her. So far she had been able to keep them from doing anything. Yet as Keiko was almost shaking from nervousness as of what the people would do to her the clouds began to get much darker. To be fair for Keiko it was the first time she had been beyond the walls of the forest in this particular direction. Seeing a wild flower that was just as purple as her hair Keiko couldn't help herself from taking a step off the main road to bend down to pick the flower. It took all of Keiko's will power to not just freeze the flower when she touched it. To her surprise she did so rather easily. As she calmed the dark clouds actually started to go away along with the cold aura she had been giving off. For the first time in a week Keiko cracked a smile as the sun came out giving the flower so much more beauty. Quickly putting it in her hair Keiko stood and started to walk again on the road passing people that were working in the fields. Of course Keiko was looking down while trying to hide her face while trying to not have the cold come again.

Krim straightened up at last finishing up what the farmer had asked of him. The winds were nice and cool on his skin. Almost cooler than usual. He headed out of the fields into town. Wherever he went, there were whispers. He payed little attention, pulling his shirt on over his head when he was no longer sweating. He couldn't help hearing snatches of what they were saying, however.

"Purple haired girl-," "Crops frozen-," "Huge wolves!"

He wasn't sure what they were talking about, so he asked, "Whats going on? What happened?" The nearest turned to him.

"It was before you came here, or at least the last sighting," He said, not really clearing up anything for Krim, "There used to be sightings of a purple haired girl that ran with wolves. She would bring cold, freezing or killing the crops. Now a girl with purple hair was sighted. A lot of the farmers that lost food to frozen crops went to confront her."

Krim felt a wave of foreboding go over him. The townspeople were kind, but superstitious. If they believed that this girl was the same one... or if she was... They would probably attack her. "Where?" The man told him. Out where he had been farming. He spun on his heel, and ran as fast as he could out there. When he arrived, there was already a crowd waiting for the girl.

Keiko kept silent as she walked down the road feeling like something bad was about to happen. Looking ahead her fears came true when she saw a whole bunch of people. Keiko was not sure why they were gathering but she had a feeling that it involved her. Thinking quickly Keiko reached into her backback which looked very modern to grab something she had picked up from some people that had been killed while in the forest. Although Keiko knew that clothing wise she would look nothing like her old self or when she was running around the woods naked. Putting the item she had pulled out of her backpack around her arm Keiko glanced at the mist village ninja band that had the cut through it. Keiko had no idea that it was from a missing nin. As keiko got closer to the people she hid her face while focusing on only keeping the cold down to a minimum. She actually was doing a vey good job even if she was very nervous as she felt a whole bunch of eyes drilling into her.

Leaving the Farm Town Empty Re: Leaving the Farm Town

As the girl approached, one farmer stepped forward. He held a hand out for her to stop. He noticed her missing ninja headband, and was wary. He was releived however that it seemed she wasn't the wolf girl. She had been here for years, and always appeared naked. But that purple hair...

"Who are you?" The farmer called out to her, "Are you here to attack, missing nin?" The people behind him lifted their weapons, mostly pitchforks, torches, and other implements nervously. They all knew if she was a missing nin, she was likely to be able to beat them all.

Krim stayed silent, but ready to act, whether to defend the villagers or the girl he wasn't sure yet. He watched and waited, his eyes not leaving the purple haired girl.

Keiko had no choice but to look up when the one person spoke not to mention halting. The first thing Keiko saw was the weapons so the first thing she thought was she was going to be attacked. Luckily she held her power within but by holding it within her body temperature was dropping more and more. Taking a step back Keiko knew if someone touched her they would experience frost bite almost instantly. After about a minute of silence from Keiko finally the words the farmer said had caught up with her. Losing a little fear Keiko said while looking very innocent with her hands hidden in the jacket sleeves while being held tightly to her sides, "Whats a Missing Nin?" In truth Keiko had no idea what a Missing Nin was. Keiko did know what a Ninja was but other then that she knew nothing of the ninja world. Not answering the first question the farmer asked Keiko at this point she didn't even think about what the farmer asked.

The farmer raised his eyebrows. "You know not of missing ninja? Then why do you wear a headband of one. Surely anyone who was raised in a ninja village would know that. Where are you from." He was beginning to suspect that she might be a wolf girl. Only one that knew nothing of ninja's at all wouldn't know a missing nin. The crowd felt the same way, murmuring to each other, weapons clattering.

Krim felt the feeling of the crowd change, from wary to menacing. He sighed. He knew these people. They were good people, but easily stirred. He nudged his way closer to the front.

Keiko realized almost instantly that she had made a mistake so decided to cover up her dumb innocence with a simple lie. Staring into the ground she tried her best to not get more nervous as words came out. "I always called myself just a traveler cause I left the village at a very young age." Even though Keiko was trying to come across confident it became obvious she was both shy and nervous. Hearing the weapons clatter Keiko finally realized a traditional custom most people did. Also realizing the man who had stepped forward had asked the question, "My name is Keiko. I come in peace." Nervously yet as she had seen someone in the cafe do Keiko put her hand up with her index along with middle finger forming a V. This being the common hand symbol for peace. Keiko looked very cute as her left hand made the peace symbol with her fingers barely sticking out of her overly long sleeved sweater. While Keiko's right hand, all the way hidden by the sweater, was now covering her mouth. Whether she wanted the look or not Keiko looked both adorable while innocent.

The mob wavered and a large number left with murmurs about foolish myths. However, the stubborn farmer had one last question for her.

"And where, pray tell, did you grow up where you haven't heard of missing ninja?" he muttered, just loud enough for the girl to hear, feeling horrible but having to ask.

Krim grinned. 'She handled that wonderfully.' he thought smiling, 'I don't believe that for a moment, but I am glad she is taking care of it.' He waited for her to disperse the rest of the farmers with her clever words.

Keiko suddenly began to feel less intimidated when people started to leave. Yet when the farmer asked the question Keiko realized that she could answer the question truthfully. "In a small cafe on the other side of the forest!" Keiko knew the cafe was not well known unless someone was a traveler in which it was on almost every map that showed any part of the forest. Glancing through the rest of the farmers Keiko saw one person who did not look like he fit. Staring at this person for what seemed like a minute Keiko wondered if he was the same age as her. Taking a second to realize that she had been staring at a rather cute boy for quite some time Keiko blushed. Now using boy hands she covered more of her mouth and nose. Not to mention looking down as her toes pointed inwards as more shyness started to bubble up.

The farmer looked even more suspicious as the girl admitted to living right next to the forest. He had never heard of any cafe that existed on the other side of his forest and opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted.

"I have heard of it. Its on my travelers maps." Krim said in all honesty as he stepped up to look at the farmer, "I have even talked to someone who has been there. I think he mentioned a cute girl with purple hair working there." He said it without emotion, clearly uninterested in anything but the truth. Nodding in Keiko's direction. "Could be her."

"Oh... well if you speak for her Krim..." The farmer looked embarrassed at last, "Sorry about this, Keiko. Its just... well, Krim you know our history. Could you explain it to her? I have chores to finish and all..." He obviously wanted to go, so Krim nodded. The farmer hurried off, as most of the crowd dispersed. Krim walked slowly up to her.

"Hello, I am Krim." he said, smiling, "You seemed to handle that well."

Keiko quickly went from blushing to turning red when krim brought up the word cute. When the cute boy who she had guessed was named Krim approached Keiko slowly started to to hide more of her face. While she felt helpless yet curious not one sound left her mouth. Not answering him in anyway Keiko was slightly confused on how she handled the thing quite well when to her the whole thing seemed like pure luck. Something that Keiko was doing whether obvious or not was pushing her knees together while pulling her arms closer to her chest.

Krim looked at the girl who had called her Keiko. She seemed to be terrified, though the mobish crowd was gone. He placed one hand on her shoulder for but a moment before jerking it back. She was icy cold. He was surprised, but not put off. As he knew many people were nervous around him at first because of his eyes, he thought perhaps this was a kekkei genkai like his own, something uncontrollable.

"Are you ok?" he asked kindly, though not reaching out to touch her again as his hand still ached with cold, "The farmers are gone. They really are kind folk, but easily startled." He chuckled, remembering his arrival. His eyes had given them quite a start. With the glowing green circle around the pupil they tended to surprise people. The fact that they glow in the dark really shocked them.

Keiko turned even more red then covered her face up only to slowly reach into her pocket to grab a lollipop. Holding it out to Krim in a very cute manor Keiko wondered if he would like the flavor as it was one of her weird flavored ones. This ones flavor was pineapple chocolate with a hint of mint. In a sense Keiko figured that this way she didn't have to talk to the boy she was very quickly getting a crush for but simply offer something that she herself treasured.

Krim smiled at her kindness, taking it from her hand. Again there was a chill, but not as strong as when he touched her a moment ago. 'She is sweet.' he thought to himself as he tasted the lollipop. He kept the smile on his face without difficulty though the lollipop was the oddest flavor he had ever had. However, he hated to disappoint and knew how to hold an expression.

"Thank you, Keiko. You are kind." he said, then held out his hand, "Are you willing to come into the village while I tell you the story of the wolf girl?"

Keiko pretty much was as red as the cherry strawberry watermelon apple lollipop she had in her pocket. Hiding her face the best she possibly could soon Keikos face was completely hidden as the tempature around her suddenly shifted to the complete opposite pushing away the cold. Keiko couldn't speak move or really even think other then she needed to get out of there fast. Turning slowly Keiko started to walk off in a random direction even though she couldnt see.  Mumbling as she slowly moved, "I don't wanna hear the story sorry." In her head she thought about how she was going to escape the cute boy not to mention kind boy. Thinking more about Krims face even if she didn't want to at all Keiko suddenly stopped blushing. Peeking through her sleeves to look at his face Keiko saw his eyes as the chill went down her spine. His eyes were completely different yet the more Keiko looked at them the more she didn't want to look away. Green eyes reminded her of the forest spirits eyes which were also green. Keiko blushed now only slightly as she almost continued to look into them yet was able to stop herself.

Krim was a little bemused as the girl covered the rest of her face. The air warmed considerably for some reason. Then the girl turned, murmuring something as she began to walk away, seemingly random. Her face was still covered. 'This girl is a little strange...' he thought to himself, following. Then she turned around and peeked at him through her sleeves. She stared at him. No, at his eyes. He smiled in attempt to put her at ease. Cautiously reaching out, he touched her hand. It wasn't so cold now.

"Sorry, my eyes are uncontrollable. I cannot make them stop glowing." His smile twitched down a little at the corners. He was used to people being unnerved, but he really didn't want this girl to be afraid or nervous. 'She is nervous enough...' he thought.

Keiko was once again shocked that Krim had touched her. It was just something different for Keiko as most people looked but saw she was shy. Of course it was Keiko's asumption that he was not very normal but intact very different like her. Even if the green eyes seemed more like a gift where as she was a curse, even now it was weird for Keiko to think of herself as a creation that's a monster. Looking down Keiko suddenly cooled down to bellow freezing or enough to be very uncomfortable if touched for a little bit. In her head she figured out what to say to not come out weird or sound like she was different herself. "Green eyes calm me down always and your eyes are beautiful so please don't be ashamed of having them in anyway." she said this very softly not to mention her posture was cute as Keiko looked at the ground. Not obvious was half way through the sentence she had no idea really what to say so said the first thing that came to mind about Krims eyes.

Krim took his hand back again, though not hurriedly, as she cooled again. He realized, to his abashment, that she might be one of those people that don't like to be touched casually. He turned a light shade of pink, hardly noticeable against his tanned skin. 'I didn't think I would find such a use for this tan,' he thought to himself, mentally chuckling.

"Thank you, Keiko, that is very kind of you," he said, sounding surprised but a little distracted, "Is my touching bothering you? Is that why you are turning cold? Forgive me if so, such contact is casual where I come from. The clan of my origin anyways." He smiled a little sheepish. "For all my traveling, it hasn't broken that habit yet."

"I am not used to people touching me at all so I appologize if that goes against your culture." Keiko said this also in a very soft voice. In truth if someone touched Keiko she would usually freak out and run away Krim was different cause he was kind while cute. Looking back everytime a human normally touched her it meant a needle or experinenting device was near. Thanks to the forest spirit though Keiko knew that when playing or trying to mate physical contact was ok. Because of this if Keiko played with someone she would be very physical.

Krim smiled at her, thankful for her understanding, as he turned to continue moving through the town.

"It is not exactly against it, we just are very casual about contact with each other. There is very little that can offend us because of that, sometimes to the amusement of others." He said as he gazed around unselfconsciously, "So what about you you? Where are you going? Why are you here?" He looked down at her as he spoke.

Keiko smiled ever so slightly as she blushed although not to apparent as her sleeves were covering the lower half of her face. Very slolwy Keiko followed Krim although did not respond to his questions right away as she herself had to think of why. Finally she had both remembered and came up with rather good reasons. Keiko was about to speak when she saw a farm boy staring at her then turn to one of his friends to whisper something. At this point Keiko was used to being whispered about cause of her hair along with odd clothing choices. Unkown to her most people thought she was cute. Realizing that a gap of time had passed Keiko answered Krims questions in a very quiet voice, "I don't really know where I am going but I was kicked out of the cafe cause the owner wanted me to live my life not be trapped." The words came out fine which made Keiko happy also telling the truth felt good.

Krim looked confused as he processed what Keiko had said. As she didn't know where she was going, he stopped, realizing he didn't know where he was dragging her off to either. A light blush rose to his cheek again, this one slightly more noticeable against his skin. 'Odd.' He thought to himself, noticing that he didn't usually blush this often. If ever.

"You were trapped before, at this cafe?" He asked, trying to put it together in his own mind.

Keiko was mostly focused on th cloud cover that had suddenly started appearing. Realizing that this was most likely her own fault Keiko focused on not having it snow. Instead it slowly started to drizzle. It came down as a very cold drizzle though that would send a shiver down anyones spine. To be fair Keiko was trying her best to keep it from snowing. After a little bit Keiko felt safe about the rain staying as rain although did look at Krim to answer his question. "I wasn't really trapped but I had no reason to go until the owner forced me out!" sounding innocent Keiko didn't feel or really notice the rain at all as she was actually colder then the rain.

As it started to rain, Krim looked up. 'After taking off my shirt so it wouldn't get wet.' he thought to himself, 'I guess I will have to hang it out to dry tonight under an overhang.' He shivered. He wasn't used to rain at all, let alone rain this cold. 'It came so suddenly!' he thought, beginning to walk to a nearby overhang.

"Lets get out of the rain, its cold." He said, through chattering teeth, "Well, to me at least. I am a desert man. So... you have no idea where your going? No goal, no dream?"
