History: This clan started with the simple passing down of techniques. An wind ninja by the name of Senji Ira decided to focus on kenjutsu as his specialty. However, he found the reliance on the quality of weaponry a great weakness. Every tool ninja is depend ant on the number and quality of tools in their arsenal. He struggled to find a compromise to this. At last, he came to a solution. By working on a second element, earth, he managed to make a jutsu that allowed him to create any weapon needed out of earth by shaping and sharpening it with wind. It still wasn't equal to a real, quality weapon, but he was content in the fact that he could not run out of weapons as long as he touched the earth. He taught his three children the same style and jutsu. However, two of the children, Rin and Sakura were not happy with it. They felt it had too many weak points. It could not be used in the air and the weapons required constant chakra flow to be used. Together, they began working on a more useful version of the jutsu. Over their life, they found if they used their second element to compact the earth rather than continuously sharpen it, they could harden the earth to the point that they no longer needed to continually provide it with chakra for form. Each successive generation worked on ways to improve the jutsu's with earth and wind chakra, until one generation mastered it. In the form of Souton:: Phasing chakra. The bloodline had, in all the generations sense Senji, only wind and earth chakra type people married and born into it. The chakra's had at last merged, creating the kekkei genkai Phasing. They were able to manipulate the protons, neutrons, and electrons in the air to actually 'copy' an object. This was much more effective than anything before, because for all intents and purposes it was the weapon, and took much less chakra. However, this required much more precise measurements, chakra control, and knowledge of weapons than the others. They had to know the exact makeup of the weapon at an atomic level. So this jutsu was still incomplete. The next generation came up with a solution to this even however. They found a way to modify their eyes with souton chakra to make them able to 'scan' any weapon they saw for its atomic qualities. This gave them the ability to absorb much information about a weapon with no more than a glance, though most were unable to modify their eyes so well that they could absorb all information about it without actually handling the item. By the third generation after this, it had become a true kekkei genkai, a born ability rather than a conscious modifying of the eyes. The last problem the clan has, was the flaws of human memory. They were unable to recall the exact specifications recorded, so the blades, while thousands times better than the first earth blades and taking less chakra to make, were still lesser in quality than the original. They managed to come up with a jutsu that sharpened their memory, but to this day, no member has been able to perfectly reproduce a blade. Instead, they came up with a way to correct most of the flaws after creation, and then further strengthen the blade past the original by reinforcing it with chakra. This is the clan at this day.

No Iria is considered a ninja unless they at least unlock this level. It is usually unlocked by age six. Once active, it remains active for the rest of the users life.

Stage 2

This level instantly scans the basic structure of any object and history. However, this only judges the structure and history with a look. The object must be held for a minute to judge the concept of creation and skill of previous use clearly. This is then in the users memory for later use. This is the average level that most Iria achieve by chunnin level. Once active, it remains active for the rest of the users life.

Stage 3

Trace: Level 3
This level instantly scans the basic structure of any object, judges the concept of creation, and history. However, this only judges the structure, judges the concept of creation, and history with a look. The object must be held for a minute judge the skill of previous use clearly. This is then in the users memory for later use. This is sometimes achieved by chunnin and is held by about half of the jounin and higher. Once active, it remains active for the rest of the users life.

Trace: Level 4
This level instantly scans the basic structure of any object, judges the concept of creation, skill of previous use, and history. This is then in the users memory for later use. This is vary rarely achieved. Any time someone achieves this level, they instantly become the leader of the clan. If two exist, they are co-leaders and so on. If the two who unlocked it are of different genders, they are often pressured by the clan into having a child.

Description:

Before activation
It is simply a regular eye with a black ring around the users pupil in the iris. Iris can be any color.

Trace: Level 1-3
The ring around the pupil glows with a blue-green color. The glow is brighter per level though hardly noticeable.

Trace: Level 4
The ring glows the same, and the kanji sign for sight appears in place of the pupil.
